How long does the average home extension take to build?
The average home extension can take around 3 months to complete from start to finish, however the size and complexity will have an impact on the time scale.
How long does it take for a set of plans to be approved for my extension?
Usually it takes up to 8 weeks for the plans to be approved, however not all extensions require planning permission.
How much does a home extension cost?
The cost depends on the size of the extension. As a general rule we estimate around £1,500 per square metre when calculating the overall cost.
What is a party wall agreement and do I need one for my extension?
If your home has a wall that is connected to another property on either side, each neighbour will have to be notified of the proposed works at least 2 months before the work begins.
